It's Time for Signs!

Whether you are making a small or large sign, get some yellow paint for the background.  I found some nice "Sun Yellow" at Theisens.  You can roll it, or spray it.

As I mentioned earlier, no candidates in Jackson or Jones Counties is using Yellow campaign sign.  So any bright yellow background will be just fine for your sign.

I often go with the KIS strategy - Keep It Simple. 

Just make a sign with "TONY" on it.  Stick it in the ground, hang from a fence, or connected to post(s).  Good to Go.

If you are inclined to add more information, try adding "Iowa House District 66" to the sign.  You can use stencils, cut out letters, or free hand as I did on these sample. 

Or, maybe you would like to be more direct and encouraging.  People will not notice imperfections as they drive by.  However, I did use some light pencil lines to direct me.

Here's the first sample I made with check box and Iowa House 66.  Very easy to read from the road.

Here's the second sample constructed.  Again, very simple, easy to read from the road and directive.
